RA roles typically open in September/October, since this is typically when we have openings (upon graduation/matriculation of one of our current RAs ).
Research assistants can work in the lab for credit. We typically only have two paid RA roles each year, and preference is given to existing RAs or past interns. Paid RAs must be able to commit to 8 to 10 hours a week; unpaid RAs should be able to commit 4 to 6 hours a week; if you are unable to commit this many hours, you might want to consider an internship.
We are currently not accepting RA applications, but check this site regularly for updates. For more information, please contact us using the contact us form with the subject line Research Assistant (GU student) query.
We do not typically accept RA applications from non-GU students; occasionally, we will work with non-GU graduate students with very relevant experience. To enquire about non-GU RA roles, please email.
We review applications for unpaid internships on a rolling basis. We accept internship applications from GU undergraduate and graduate students and non-GU graduate students. Interns are expected to commit between 3 to 5 hours per week and be present for weekly lab meetings.
We welcome affiliation requests from early career researchers (PhD students, postdocs, and independent scholars)
If you would like to become an intern or affiliate, please email us a CV and cover letter
Each year we run a youth internship competition for two high school students to join the lab for summer research. The competition runs between February - April. For those interested in the youth internship, please check this page after December for updates.
